History
ART is the Association for Research on Transplantation, founded in
Milan in 1993 and converted into Foundation ART for Research on Transplantation
Onlus on December 2005.
The objective is to promote and sustain research in organ transplantation.
The objective
is pursued through fundraising to finance research projects
selected by the Scientific
Committee, comprised of five members, which examines
research projects, assists researchers, promotes scientific
meetings and analyzes results obtained in the studies.

ART is governed by a Board of Directors
and a Managing Committee made of experts in the field of medicine,
jurisprudence, economy and finance. There is also an International
Scientific Committee made of world famous scientists in the field
of transplantation.
